The music that plays while on the surface of the planet can be complicated to modify.

Types of Music
Currently, there are 6 types of music cues.
Downtime
Plays before the first battle cue after you first drop in or after a Main Objective Complete and there are no enemies within your scanner's reach.
Calm Music
Commonly 30-44 seconds long. These cues will play after you've defeated all enemies that could be scanned on your radar.
Battle Music
Commonly 40-55 seconds long. These will cue when you're near enemies or you shoot your gun to alert an enemy.
Calm Transitions
Commonly 9-23 seconds long. Used when switching from one Calm song to another.
Battle Transitions
Commonly 8-12 seconds long, primarily used to keep the drums from being interupted during lengthy battles.
Battle Bumpers
One is 6 seconds and the other is 7.8 seconds. Used by the game when transitioning from Battle music to Calm music.
Wem Families
Wem Families are groups of wems that are commonly associated with one another.
If you ever change one of the wems you must change the entire family to the same audio file. Failure to do so may cause your game to crash when triggering that audio cue. In less extreme cases it will cause the music to go silent until an Objective is Completed or Extraction is called.
